Summer Updates from Lincoln!
This past week, our building leadership team was able to come together and continue to build out the plans to ensure a successful year in the areas of reading, math and attendance. As we near the beginning of the year, we will share more updates of how we are able to hit our goals to allow all of our students to succeed academically and beyond!
This past weekend, we had a PTA sponsored "Kindergarten Playdate" at Eagle Park. It was a huge success with 20+ families and students in attendance. Continue to stay tuned with information from the PTA on their Facebook Page for updates for an additional "Kindergarten Playdate", the Back to School Bash and other fun events coordinated during the year! I have linked a few, fun pictures from this past weekend's "Kindergarten Playdate"
As we continue to near the start of the 24-25 School Year, please read through some of the updates regarding registration, construction, and a few new faces that you will be seeing at Lincoln!
Please don't hesitate to reach out with any additional questions!
Here to serve,
Go Lions!

Assistant Principal Intro: Mrs. Roldan
I hope this message finds you well and that you are enjoying a restful and relaxing summer break. As I join District 15 and Lincoln Elementary School as one of your new Assistant Principals, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a bit about my background.
I bring with me 19 years of experience teaching grades K-5, with a focus on Spanish bilingual, dual language, and elementary foreign language programs. Most recently, I served as an instructional coach, dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive school environment where all students can excel academically, socially, and emotionally. My commitment to student success is unwavering, and I am passionate about creating opportunities for every child to thrive and reach their full potential.
On a personal note, I reside in Mundelein with my husband, Sergio, and our four children: Carlos (15), Anabel (13), Adalyn (8), and Cruz (2), along with our two dogs, Benny and Chewy. When I’m not at school, my family and I enjoy taking walks and bike rides, cooking, grilling, and baking, and watching movies and sports.
I am eager to meet each of you and to collaborate to ensure a successful and enriching school year for all. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or simply to connect. Enjoy the remainder of your summer break. See you soon.
Assistant Principal Intro: Mrs. Thurber
I am thrilled to officially introduce myself as one of the new Assistant Principals at Lincoln School. It is an honor to join the Lincoln community and I am eager to embrace the exciting possibilities this school year holds.
Before coming to Lincoln, I had the privilege of serving as Assistant Principal at Willow Bend School for four years and Winston Campus for one year. My educational journey also includes experience as a Middle School Math and Science teacher, a 4th and 5th grade teacher, a paraprofessional, and a math coach within Schaumburg District 54. These diverse roles have equipped me with a well-rounded perspective on education and a deep commitment to student success.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending quality time with my family. My husband, JT, and I have three wonderful daughters: Amelia (15), Zoe (13), and Callie (6). We also have a busy household with three chickens and a turtle – Salt, Pepper, Cinnamon, and Chip! When we're not at home, we love exploring the outdoors through camping, hiking, biking, and road trips. I also enjoy live music and reading in my spare time.
As a leader, I believe in the importance of visibility and support. I am committed to being accessible and responsive to your needs. If I don’t have an answer, I will find it and follow up promptly. I am excited to collaborate with the talented Lincoln staff to create an exceptional learning environment for our students.
I look forward to getting to know each of you and working together to make this an incredible year!
