Katie 9S

Katie recently competed at the Regional Open Trampolining Championships at Loughborough and received the Silver medal, narrowly missing out on Gold. Well done Katie!

  • Mr Lee has nominated his Year 11 Maths students who have attend the intervention sessions for their hard work. Well done.
  • Mr Gourlay has nominated Josie, 7CA for her excellent contribution in Computer Science lessons and Sam, 8C for his impressive racing game programmed in Scratch.
  • Miss Connellan has nominated Daniela 11C, Jack and Tomasz 11S for their excellent effort in English.
  • Mr Cox has nominated the Year 8 Scientists for excellent practical work this week.
  • Miss Longhurst has nominated Eden 11S for her fantastic effort in the History mock exam.
  • Mr Harley has nominated the Year 10 Engineers for making great progress during practical assessment.
  • The Design and Technology team have also nominated Darcey, 7TE for excellent classroom contributions and a well presented work book.

Imagine a Day

Year 9 students took part in the "Imagine a Day Project" this week in collaboration with Northampton University. The project covered a range of drama exercises and games to help young people engage and explore their potential.

Engineering in Education Scheme

Mr Godfrey will be working with TATA Steel and a group of Year 12 students on a real life engineering project. Students will visit TATA steel next week to see the project in context.

CTS Christmas Talent Show

Auditions will be held for the CTS Talent Show on Thursday 9th November in the George Weston Theatre at 4.15pm.

Reminders:

  • Reports - if you have not yet returned your reply slip please return to your child's tutor as soon as possible.
