In the PWSSD, we are committed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment for all students. As part of our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program, we want to ensure our school-wide expectations reflect the values that matter most to our school community.

During your child's Parent/Teacher conference, you will be asked to complete a short survey to share the values and character traits you believe are most important for students to learn and demonstrate at school. We wanted to make you aware of this now so you have some time to think about your responses before you come in for conferences. Thank you in advance for partnering with us to create a strong and positive school culture.

PALS is holding a Kwik Trip Car Wash Fundraiser! Purchase a card preloaded with FIVE ULTIMATE car washes for $36 (a $14 savings!) Valid at all Kwik Trips and Kwik Stars. Order forms were sent home with our students, and we have more in the office. You can also print out your own order form by clicking on the image.

Please have order forms back to school no later than WEDNESDAY MARCH 19th and checks payable to PALS. Cards will go home with students after spring break.

The Carnival Committee is looking for donations! Have some NEW UNOPENED toys laying around your house that you can no longer return? PALS will happily take them off your hands! We are in need of small toys, arts & craft projects, sports gear for all ages, 4K-fourth grade, boy themed, girl themed, and gender neutral. No toys? We also are in need of large bags of individually wrapped candy (i.e. Child's Play mix or similar, suckers)-NO NUTS please! Please email carrie.barnes@yahoo.com with questions!

Although we've had a winter with very little snow for our students to play in this year, we want to send a reminder that winter gear is often still necessary to provide warmth at recess. We go outside whenever the temperature is above 0, and students aren't always able to keep warm enough for the duration of recess outside without some extra layers. Additionally, for student safety, all students MUST wear a winter coat and pants (not shorts) when the temperature is below freezing (32° F).

If you missed the information session at Lincoln last week, have no fear. You can still join us for one of our other referendum information nights at one of our other locations listed below. These sessions include a brief presentation followed by a building tour. Click here for more information!

With snow in the forecast, warm layers, including a winter coat, gloves, hat, snow boots, snowpants, and extra socks are a great idea for outdoor play. Layering will keep them comfortable if temperatures change throughout the day, and a change of clothes tucked in their backpack can help with any spills, puddles, or wet-snow adventures. Let’s make sure our kids are ready for a fun and comfortable day of learning, no matter what the weather brings!

If your child will not be at school or will be tardy, please use Infinite Campus to report the absence.

The attendance line is currently still an option but we prefer parents use Infinite Campus. Thank you to all of you who've been using this slick, new feature.

Reporting an absence is important and necessary even if you have contacted your child's teacher.

The PALS Padlet allows everyone easy access to information about our Lincoln parent group, to get in touch with them, and/or to see updates of all their fun events!
