Justice Family Newsletter
Principal Corner by Mrs. Rumple
Happy New Year! I am excited to start the second semester of the 2024-2025 school year. As we work together to ensure a safe school and smooth operations of our daily procedures, I’d like to kindly remind you of a few important processes and procedures:
Transportation Changes: Any changes to end-of-day transportation must be communicated to the office prior to 3:00 PM. This allows us enough time to notify teachers, staff, and students.
Patience with Phone Calls: Our office staff may not always be aware of the context of previous calls, as different team members handle different requests. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated as we assist you.
Pick Up and Drop Off Procedures: These guidelines are in place to keep all children safe and to make the process efficient for everyone.
We greatly appreciate your cooperation in:
Following the designated traffic flow.
Using the assigned drop-off and pick-up zones.
Drop Off: Once your vehicle comes to a stop in the area with the cones, please have your student exit to the cones and proceed into the building.
Pick Up: Pick up is along the sidewalk. Please continue to pull forward as appropriate to help the line move quickly for everyone.
Avoiding parking or driving in unauthorized areas.
To continue promoting a positive school community and engagement at school, we will continue our Justice tradition of celebrating First Fridays throughout the school year. The first Friday of January (the first Friday we have school) is Brrr! It’s Cold Outside (wear your coziest outfit).
I thank you for your continued support and partnership in the education of all of our students. This is our time to BEE GIANTS, and we continue to dedicate our time and energy to this task. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.
A Moment With Mrs. Siders
Grinchmas Party
Students were awarded for their GIANT behavior during the last month of the semester by being invited to our Grinchmas Party. We had treats, activities, and watched the original Grinch movie.
Music Classes Honor Mr. McKinney
Mrs. Williams helped her 5th Grade Music classes honor a staff member of their choosing. They decided to honor Mr. McKinney with a song and a poster all about him!

He is quiet in class but participated well. He is kind to everyone and a good friend. I really is a job to have Alejandro in class. Submitted by Mrs. Larson
5th Grade Student of the Month

When Terriell comes to my class, he is focused and works very hard. I never have to say anything to him about his behavior. He greets me every morning when he comes in and it brightens my day! Submitted by Ms. Kikendall
From the Sidelines: Inside the World of Sports by Coach Alsup
Winter sports season started with victories with the boys and girls team. The boys basketball team started their season with wins over Kokomo and Eastern. The girls team opened their season with a win over Blackford. Congrats to both teams! Both teams' schedules will become very busy when their schedules hit full swing in January.
Students who were not selected for the school basketball teams and are interested in still improving their skills will get the opportunity to participate in a newly formed youth league where games will be played at the Boys Club. Information was presented before Christmas Break.
Open swim has started for any boy or girl interested in being on the swim team. Also, Coach Beck visited multiple days during lunch to sign up students that were interested in joining the wrestling team.
Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu once said,” A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” As we start a new year let’s look for ways to help our student athletes on their journeys to become better athletes and more importantly better people one step at a time. Thank you to the adults who are investing their time, effort and energy into student athletes on a daily basis.
Life is a team activity,
Coach Alsup
