Dismissal Procedures
If you are picking up your student at the end of the day, they must be picked up no later than 3:30 pm. We do not have staff to supervise students past 3:30 pm.
2025-26 Kindergarten Registration and Dual Language Program
District 47 online kindergarten registration for the 2025-26 school year will begin February 3. At that time, families can register their incoming kindergartener by completing the steps on the District 47 website at d47.org/registration. Early registration helps with adequate staffing, placement in your home school preference, and appropriate class size.
Kindergarten Dual Language Meetings
Informational meetings about District 47's Dual Language program will be held for parents who have an incoming kindergarten student for the 2025-2026 school year. If you are interested in placing your child into the program and you do not have a child currently enrolled in the dual language program, attendance is required at one of these meetings. Flyer. Families who currently have a child enrolled in the dual language program MUST complete the registration process for their incoming kindergarten student by Friday, March 21 to guarantee their place in the program. Students with siblings in dual language registered after this date will be added to the waitlist.
Future Chefs Competition
We're looking for you to submit your recipe to complete the plate with your favorite main dish!
One lucky winner from each school grades 3rd , 4th and 5th will
be chosen as finalists to compete in our contest at Hannah
Beardsley Middle School on Wednesday, March 12, 4-6:30 pm.
As a bonus, the winner of this event will be entered in a Future
Chefs National Challenge for some great prizes!
