EGG HUNT
Our MPHS Key Club co-hosted its fantastic annual egg hunt Saturday with the Mineral Point Kiwanis and Mineral Point Historical Society at Mineral Point Health Services! Thanks to everyone that came out for the fun.

We had a lot of excited little Pointers for our #PointerNation State bound wrestling, gymnastics, and boys basketball teams this winter! There might be some future champions in this bunch!
ETC FIELD TRIP
Some of our Freshmen and Sophomores were able to tour ETC in Middleton! ETC manufactures theatre, film, studio, and architectural lighting. Thanks for the warm welcome!
TALENT IN ACTION

6TH GRADE BOYS WIN STATE BASKETBALL TITLE
Congrats to the #PointerNation 6th Grade Boys Basketball team which took 1st place in Division 4/5 at the Wisconsin State Invitational Championship Tournament in Ashwaubenon/De Pere/Wrightstown! The boys defeated Cedar Grove-Belgium, Fall Creek, Elk Mound, Cadott, Laconia, and finally Onalaska Luther 52-48 in the championship game. This is the second year in a row this group of kids has won the title. Great job, all!
STATE YOUTH WRESTLING
Many of our young Pointer student-athletes had a very fine showing at the Youth Folkstyle State Wrestling Championships in Madison last weekend! A special congrats to placewinners:

SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION INFO
The annual School Board Election for the Mineral Point Unified School District will be held Tuesday, April 2. Polls will be open 7 am - 8 pm.
- Our Pointer Media students were able to sit down and ask our candidates some questions of interest recently. All candidates were invited to participate in the interviews.
- We have four candidates running for three available seats.
- Instructions will be to vote for not more than three candidates.
Order of names on the ballot:
- Rachael Bergstrom (incumbent)
- Justin Skelding (incumbent)
- Alan Schrank
- Aaron Dunn (incumbent)
The top three vote recipients will each serve three-year terms beginning April 22.

MIDDLE/HIGH FAMILY CONFERENCES
Middle/High School Family Conferences are scheduled for this Wednesday, April 3 from 4-7:30 pm. This is a great opportunity to celebrate progress and address any questions or concerns you may have.
MPHS SPRING PLAY
Our MPHS Drama Department is getting excited to present their spring play, "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" coming up April 12-14!
The cast and crew of the spring play are thrilled to announce that tickets for our upcoming presentation of just got a whole lot more accessible!
Thanks to a generous contribution from The Commerce Street Brewery & Hotel, we are able to slash ticket prices for adults and extend a special offer for students. Adult tickets are now $6 only! Students will be absolutely FREE! Join us April 12th and 13th at 7 pm, or April 14th at 2 pm, at the Mineral Point Opera House. Tickets are still required, and they can be ordered from mineralpointoperahouse.org or purchased at the box office.
If you have already purchased tickets, you will be reimbursed to reflect the updated price.
Thank you, Commerce Street Brewery & Hotel, for your support of the performing arts and for making this special event possible. Let's make this spring play season one to remember.

The Tippett kids had a fantastic time in Cocoa Beach, FL!
The 5th Grade Boys Basketball team earned their first tournament championship at JustAGame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells!
The Brants took on Jamaica for Spring Break this year and did a lot of cliff jumping in the blue hole!
Dealya Collins competed at 2024 USA Wrestling 16U & JR Folkstyle Nationals in Cedar Falls, IA bringing home a 3rd place finish!
Shane Schaaf just couldn't stay away from school, taking advantage of the dry weather to head out on his bike!
Evelyn and Henry Harris spent Spring Break in Brazil meeting their mother's family and hanging out at the beach!
Cleo Cole stayed home over Spring Break to play with her new bunny, Babycakes!
Emme, Gabe, Bryce, and Dane Oellerich spent their Spring Break roadtripping to Parker, AZ to visit their grandparents. They traveled through nine states along the way!
Aiden and Landen Sauer had fun exploring at the National Mississippi River Museum in Dubuque!
Ivan Case spent his spring break in Folly Beach, SC enjoying running around the beach, exploring the island for shark teeth, and fossil hunting!
Weston Potterton spent Spring Break at home with his new baby brother, Wells!
The Nechvatal kids (Haven and Soren) enjoyed a Disney cruise to the Bahamas!
Logan and Myles Gould and Kasen Knight spent their Spring Break at Disney World in Florida!
