Bulldog Blast

2/28/2025
Note From Principal Pautler
Good Afternoon Bulldogs ~
Busy doesn't even describe the weeks leading up to SWINE Week. It seems like everything combines at once and there are events just about every night. I want to make sure that you all have the SWINE Week information you need for a successful experience. Therefore, this next week I will be sending out a special SWINE Week edition of The Bulldog Blast. It will highlight everything from the schedule of events to some special parking areas we will be using to make the experience better for visitors. Be on the lookout for that on Thursday of this next week.
This weekend we have a bunch going on so lets highlight a few of those items.
1). Solo and Ensemble Contest for Band and Orchestra: This takes place on Saturday at Edmond Santa Fe and involves a good portion of our student musicians. Best of luck to all those students performing on Saturday and we wish you the best!
2) Girls and Boys Basketball Regionals: We are in the midst of the basketball regional tournaments. Last night our girls were victorious and move to the regional final game on Saturday at 3:30 here at EMHS. The boys will play tonight for their ticket to the regional final. The boys game will be at Norman North at 7:30. Remember - for all of the OSSAA tournament games - tickets must be purchased either at the event or online by CLICKING HERE. (EPS activity passes do not work for OSSAA games)
3). SWINE Week Auction: The SWINE Week auction will be Saturday night starting at 6:00 and will take place at Memorial Road Church of Christ. This event is always a GREAT way to support SWINE Week and pick up some great items!
4). Spring Sports Begin Action: We have everything from the final scrimmages of pre season to the beginnings of actual play for Soccer, baseball, and tennis. Track also begins their season in the coming days!
As you can see - there's always something AMAZING going on here at the Memorial High School where we Believe...Belong...and Sacrifice - to Build a LEGACY!!

Prom Attendance
We want our students to have an AMAZING time attending the EMHS prom. This year, we will be hosting our prom at the Edmond Conference Center located at the intersection of Sooner & Covell. Here are some items of note for EMHS prom.
1) Students must be in financial good standing to purchase prom tickets. This means all fines and fees must be paid before tickets may be purchased.
2) Sophomores are not allowed to purchase tickets but may attend as a guest of a Junior or Senior.
3) Only EMHS Juniors and Seniors are allowed to purchase tickets to the EMHS prom and are limited to one guest only.
4) Students from other high schools are allowed to attend as a guest of an EMHS student. Guest form must be submitted and approved prior to ticket purchase.
5) Please be advised that no middle school students, freshmen, or adults who have been out of high school more than one year may attend.
