South Point High & Stuart Cramer High Football Players Visit Belmont Central

On two Fridays in October, football players from both of the high schools that our school feeds into joined us to greet the next generation of Red Raiders and Storm students.

Programs for Belmont Central Students

In addition to the regular curriculum, students are continuing to have opportunities to grow outside of the curriculum. The National Theater Company came in October and did a show on natural resources. Our own Belmont Fire Department also came to the school in October to share fire safety tips with our second graders. Students also got to go through the smoke house to learn what to do if their home catches fire.

Nickels for Neighbors

Thank you very much to everyone that helped raise funds for two different school systems in South Carolina. Our school raised a total of $1,812.29. The class that raised the most was Ms. Adams' class with a total of $189. Her class got to duct tape Mr. Goff to a wall.

Faculty/Staff Member of the Month

Congratulations to Mrs. Kim Parrish on being named the 2015-16 Belmont Central Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Parrish is a second grade teacher.


Congratulations to Miss Lisa Austin, our school's receptionist and secretary, on being named the 2015-16 Kia Educator Award winner for our school.


Congratulations to Mr. Kyle Wood, fifth grade teacher, for being selected as our October Faculty/Staff Member of the Month!
