Hello Ranger Families!

We ended October with a great week. Monday we celebrated our Active Learners in 3-5th grade at our Ranger Way Assembly. November’s skill is Accountability. We loved seeing all of the Vocabulary Words on Thursday, it’s always fun to see the creativity.

Next week, we will be holding our Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please note that these days will be half days, with student dismissal at 11:55 AM. Regular school hours will continue on Monday and Friday.

If you haven't yet scheduled your conference with your child's teacher, please do so as soon as possible. These meetings are a valuable opportunity to discuss your child's progress and foster collaboration between home and school.

Get ready—the Scholastic Book Fair is happening this week! This is a great opportunity to connect with your child over the thrill of bringing home new books to dive into again and again. Studies show that kids read more when they choose books for themselves. And fostering a love of independent reading leads to a wide variety of benefits—including academic success and improved mental health.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Book Fair:

Location: Elk Ridge Library
Students have the opportunity to purchase books during their recess, after school or during conferences.

While you’re there, set up a Book Fair eWallet, the digital payment account that allows your child to shop for books at the Fair without cash. Then share your eWallet link so friends and extended family can add funds.

When you fund an eWallet, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a giving initiative called
Share the FairTM. Your contributions directly support our students who need help buying books
from the Fair.
