RCPS Families- Returning Student Registration is now open! Please complete by Meet the Teacher Day on August 12th. To begin registration, log into your parent portal account on the app or the district website at https://rappahannock.powerschool.com/public/.
Once in the parent portal, click "forms" to get started. To view an online tutorial on how to find and complete these necessary back-to-school forms, click the video button below and scroll down to the returning student registration video at the bottom of the page.

RCHS Families-- View the 8th grade school supplies below. For grades 9-12th, individual teachers will share this information with families during Meet-the-Teacher Day, due to the varying needs of specialized high school classes.

SY24-25 Bus Routes
CLICK HERE to view updated routes for SY 24-25. Please note that some bus numbers and route descriptions have been altered from last year. Additionally, students are urged to be at their pickup points at least 15 minutes early the first day of school.
Vaccine Clinic for 7th and 12th Grade Students
The Health Department will be coming to Rappahannock Elementary School to provide back-to-school vaccines for rising 7th and 12th-grade students on August 9th.
For Seniors: A dose of Meningitis vaccine is required after age 16 and before starting the first day of 12th grade by Virginia Code. In addition, the Health Department will offer parents/guardians the option to update Tdap vaccine for college and finish HPV series if not already completed. Parents/guardians can choose which specific vaccines their student will receive, and only those vaccines will be provided at the appointment.
For 7th graders: A dose of Meningitis and Tdap vaccine is required before starting the first day of 7th grade by Virginia Code. 2 Doses of HPV are also Code required, but parents/guardians may choose to vaccinate or opt out without further documentation of HPV only. Parents/guardians can choose which specific vaccines their student receives; only those vaccines will be provided at the appointment.
