8th Grade Moving Up Ceremony
Students will take final cumulative exams during exam week. Please keep in mind that no students' grades will be negatively affected by their final exam score. Students will have the opportunity to replace their lowest quarter grade with their final exam score, if it helps their overall final average. This will give students the opportunity to show what they have learned this year without the additional pressure usually associated with final exams. If students are able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the material, their average will be positively impacted.
End of Year Awards Ceremonies
As we conclude the 2022-2023 school year, I wanted to give you some additional information about this year's award and moving up ceremonies. Parents of students in grades 5-7 who will be recognized on stage will receive a letter in the mail inviting them to attend the ceremony. All eighth grade families will be invited to attend the Moving up Ceremony and will need to reserve seats for this event. More information on this will be sent home in the next few weeks.
