12/16-12/20: WINTER SPIRIT WEEK IS HERE!
Help Our Eagles Stay Safe on Franklin Ave!
Arrival and dismissal has become more complex as the enrollment at our school has risen over the last three years and we need your help to KEEP OUR STUDENTS SAFE.
Adults are assigned outside for the role of supporting the safe crossing of our children. Please do NOT drop students off on Franklin Ave. It may seem quicker on a busy morning, but we need staff outside to focus on the children who are crossing and entering from multiple locations. The front of the school is not allocated crossing guards or traffic guards; therefore, it is up to the adults to make safe decisions in the morning that will support keeping ALL of our children safe.
Please Do Not:
- Pick up or drop off on Franklin
- Block our neighbors driveways
- Speed in the car circle
- Form multiple lanes in the car circle
Please Do:
- Pack extra patience for all children to get picked up
- Plan for dismissal to last from 3:00-3:15 (Most cars are gone by 3:12)
- Prioritize the safety of student pedestrians
Be Ready for Winter Weather!
Montgomery County has a system in place to inform parents and staff of disruptions to school schedules due to inclement weather. Please see the information linked here.
