A Message from Mrs. Loper
Dear Families,
Welcome back to a new and exciting school year! We hope you had a restful and enjoyable summer. This year promises to be filled with opportunities for growth, learning, and achievement. Our dedicated staff has been hard at work preparing for the year ahead, ensuring that our classrooms are ready to inspire and challenge our students. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
We encourage you to stay informed and involved throughout the school year by attending events, joining LEO, Sports Booster, and regularly checking our school website and Logger Highlights for updates.
Communication between home and school is essential to the success of our students, and we value your partnership. Please do not hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher or our administrative team with any questions, concerns, or suggestions. Together, we are dedicated to creating a positive and enriching school experience for all, and with your involvement, we can achieve this.

Cell Phones
Cell phones seem to be “the norm,” however, by policy, students are NOT to use them during class time. Student cell phones are not to be heard nor seen in any classroom. We expect that students will have phones turned off during class time. Our MS/HS students may use cell phones before school, lunchtime, and after school.
We understand that families rely on cell phones as a source of communication, however, we ask that you respect the school day as a work place and that personal business with a cell phone be reserved for after the school day. In emergencies, parents may reach the school office at 231-549-2211 to get a message to their son/daughter.
Logger Wear Fridays
An important tradition at Boyne Falls School is carried out each Friday throughout the school year. Students and staff are encouraged to wear Logger Wear or green & white clothing. Every student’s name is entered in a drawing for a FREE Logger t-shirt and names are drawn each Friday. If the person chosen is wearing green or Logger Wear, they win a t-shirt. If the name is chosen and they are not wearing Logger wear/green, their name is returned to the bucket for another chance to win at a later date. Go Loggers!
FREE BREAKFAST & LUNCH FOR ALL STUDENTS!
Boyne Falls Public School is excited to offer free breakfast and lunch to all students starting this new school year thanks to the Community Eligibility Program and Michigan Healthy School Meals Program! Even though meals will be provided for free, it is important for families to continue sharing household income information in order for our schools to receive full access to federal and state funding for educational programs that our students are entitled to.
Free and reduced lunch forms were sent home as part of the enrollment packet. It is very important that you complete this form as soon as possible and return it to school with your other enrollment paperwork.
Thank you in advance for getting this paperwork to the office in a timely manner.
