FCVS Update 02.26.25

Principal's Message
February 28, 2025
Dear FCVS Families,
As we welcome the arrival of spring, it’s a great time to check in and ensure students are staying on track with their learning. The longer days and fresh energy of the season can be a great boost, but consistency and support remain key to success.
At FCVS, we continue to focus on providing a flexible and engaging learning experience for all students. Your support at home—encouraging time management, regular check-ins, and open communication—makes a big difference. If you have any questions or need assistance, our team is here to help. Let’s work together to keep students engaged and moving forward through these next few months. Thank you for being an essential part of our school community!
Warm regards,
Michael Watson

Senior Career Fair
FCPS seniors are invited to attend the 2025 Senior Career Fair on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Frederick Community College. This event provides students with the opportunity to explore in-demand career pathways, connect with top employers, and gain insight into job and training opportunities in various industries, including Advanced Manufacturing, Skilled Trades, Supply Chain Management, Government, Healthcare, Information Technology, and Logistics. By engaging with professionals, students can expand their networks, learn about hiring processes, and take meaningful steps toward their post-graduation goals.

To commemorate the occasion, people from all over the world wear fun socks and share pictures on social media. In FCPS, we encourage all to wear their fun socks on Friday, March 21, 2025, and share their pictures on social media at the hashtags #WDSDatFCPS and #LotsOfSocks.
