Dear Foster Families,
This will be a short message today as I will be sending you a communication next week about the traffic pattern for drop-off/pick-up and the procedures for walkers and students on the bus.
I want to thank the community for supporting the staff and I as we transition into the new building. We appreciate the wonderful luncheon today from the PTO. It gave us a nice boost of energy prior to completing the boxing of our materials.
Wishing you all a fantastic Winter Break! See you all on January 3, 2025 in our new school.

Kindergarten Information Night
HPS will host a Kindergarten Information Night on January 15, 2025, from 6:30-7:30 PM at Hingham Middle School. New parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend. Spread the word to friends and family with incoming kindergartners!

PTO News: Week of December 20th
Hello Foster Families,
We likely all have mixed emotions about saying farewell to this beloved school. William L. Foster Elementary has been a staple of our neighborhood for 74 years and while it may be the end of an era, it is also the beginning of an exciting new chapter! Within the classrooms, teachers have ignited curiosity, friendships were formed, milestones celebrated, and challenges overcome. We owe so much gratitude to the many hands who have made Foster School the school that we all adore: the administrators, educators, staff, parents and students! The lessons learned in this building, both academic and personal, are the foundation for our future Foster community. It is not about the building we are in, but all the people who are in it.
We are looking forward to an exciting new chapter in our beautiful new school in 2025! Wishing all our Foster’s Finest a wonderful holiday season and a Happy and healthy New Year!
