BES Families -

Our annual Boosterthon fund raiser has wrapped up and we are excited to share that we hit our goal of $30,000 to support our school. Thank you to everyone who supported their runner by pledging financially or just coming out to the Fun Run.

Here's what to look for in this week's Bear Bulletin -

• Spirit Wear Sales - just in time for the holidays!

• This week's lunch menu, as well as links for setting up your child's account, adding money to your child's account, or to apply for financial support for meals.

• Volunteer opportunities at BES - these are updated frequently, so check back often!

• Sunday, Nov 3 - Daylight savings time ends - we fall back one hour today. Make sure to change your clock!

• Monday, Nov 4 - Chick-Fil-A & BES - Mobile Spirit Night. See details below!

• Tuesday, Nov 5 - Election Day - all D5 schools and offices are closed.

• Tuesday, Nov 12 - Make up picture day (Once the picture is made, you can subscribe to get alerts when your images are ready. https://my.photoday.com/s/LTBW/248386 )

Use your mobile app to place an order. When you go to check out, you'll see "Community Care Event." Click that and BES will receive a percentage of the sales! (You can still eat inside - just use the app to place the order and select "Pick Up.")

Meet your neighbors from around the world as refugees from many places share their experiences.

We will create a library passport and you can get a stamp each visit!

Build-a-Thon: LEGO Challenge

Get hands-on by building towers, robots, creatures and more. Who can build it tallest? Who can build it strongest? Build Freely and find out!

3 p.m. – 5 p.m., Tuesday, November 19

There is also a scavenger hunt for kiddos available anytime you drop by the Richland Library Ballentine location!
