Dear Parents/Carers,
I hope you have had a great week. We have been very busy but productive!
Thank you to everyone who has signed on to Class Dojo and completed the consent form for photos. If you don’t complete the form, we will assume that you DON’T give consent and we won’t upload pictures of your child. If you are struggling to sign up, please let me know and I will happily help you. Dojo also translates messages if this is useful to any of our families.
There will be a temporary teaching post advert going out next week. Mrs Harrison has some very exciting news – she will be going on adoption leave in the near future! We are so happy for her and will keep you posted on her replacement cover teacher.
We are making a start on collecting our OPAL play resources. Expect to see a storage container appear on site. This is where we will store items ready for the launch. Thanks to Thomas Alexander Homes who have promised us lots of pipes, cones etc for our loose parts play. Our first area of development will be a digging pit so we are putting out a plea for any unwanted trucks/construction vehicles.
Enjoy your weekend,
Mel Walmsley
Headteacher

FREE 2 day course for parents and carers of children and young people with communication and interaction needs.
This annual event is an opportunity to find out more about autism and gain practical tools and strategies to help support your child or young person.
Parents will also meet others facing similar experiences or with a shared interest in the topic. Children do not need to have a diagnosis of autism in order for parents to attend. Parents need to be able to attend both days and will receive a copy of the content covered following the course.
Dance Elite Before School Dance Club
We’re thrilled to announce that sign-ups are still open for our Thursday Morning Dance Club, which runs from January to February for £19!
This term, we’re introducing an exciting new focus:
Gymnastics with Dance – Your child will learn impressive tricks, lifts, and balances on mats, all beautifully choreographed into a routine set to music.
Double the Creativity – Alongside the gymnastics routine, we’ll also create a fun and energetic dance routine, ensuring everyone gets to shine and enjoy the magic of movement!
Important Reminder:
To ensure safety, flexibility, and peak performance, we kindly ask that all children bring their PE kit to each session. Performing in school uniforms can be restrictive, while PE kits allow for easier movement and ensure everyone can enjoy the activities to the fullest.
Spaces are limited, so secure your spot today!
