Principal Message
For those of you who just registered, welcome to the Beye Community! In addition to our new kindergarten students, we have new students across the grade levels. You will learn next Friday who the classroom teacher is and where your child will line up. In the meantime, if you have a young child and are new to the area, it can help to come over and play on the school grounds before school starts. Check out the K play dates below.
School Supplies
On the school website, you can click to see this year's school supply lists. If you pre-ordered a supply kit, unless you asked that it be delivered to your home, it will be ready for your child in their classroom before school starts.
School - Wide Supply Drop Off: Wednesday, August 21 8:00 - 8:45 a.m.
On Wednesday, August 21 between 8:00 and 8:45 a.m. we are hosting a school - wide supply drop off. Students and families are invited to stop by the classroom, meet the teacher, and drop off the supplies. This is a quick "meet and greet" as we want teachers to be able to say hello to everyone. If your child is not able to stop by on Wednesday, they can bring their supplies on the first day of school, Thursday, August 22.
Important Note from the Health Office for Everyone
This went out in a separate email Thursday, August 1. If you haven't had a chance to read it, please view the letter HERE.
There will be a time or two set aside for medicine to be dropped off to Nurse Shilpa before school starts. More information will be coming shortly.

Please refer to the D97 2024-2025 School Calendar for information regarding holidays, trimester end dates, report card distribution, family-teacher conferences, and winter and spring break.
Background Checks
Our Beye staff does a wonderful job at planning field trips that enrich our curriculum and we enjoy having family members chaperone. In order to supervise students, the chaperone must complete a background check through the district. Please click on this link to make an appointment. The background check lasts for 3 years. It is helpful to do these earlier in the year as time slots fill up.
