Dear St. Paul Parents,

Are any of your children playing sports this season? How about planning for sports next year?

All kids playing middle school and high school level sports require a sports physical completed by a qualified health provider. We recommend using the annual well-child check appointments with your provider to complete the sports physicals! Well-child check appointments are covered by insurance. Use the well-child check appointment to complete your kid’s sports physical at the same time. You will save yourself a separate trip to the doctor’s office and extra sports physical costs.

We recommend that parents with kids in 3rd and 4th grade start planning for 5th-grade sports. Use the 4th grade well-child check appointments to get the sports physicals done.
