Welcome Back!
Welcome back to a new school year! We are thrilled to have you and your children join us as we embark on another exciting journey of learning, growth, and discovery. Our theme for this year is "We Can Do Hard Things," inspired by the belief that with determination and perseverance, we can overcome any obstacle and achieve great things. In keeping with this theme, our school will be adorned with a mountain motif, symbolizing our ability to move mountains together.
We Can Do Hard Things
This year, our hallways and classrooms will reflect the majesty of mountains, reminding us daily that no challenge is too great. We aim to create an environment that encourages resilience, courage, and a growth mindset through the following: us daily that no challenge is too great. We aim to create an environment that encourages resilience, courage, and a growth mindset through the following:
Academic Excellence: Encouraging students to tackle challenging subjects and develop problem-solving skills.
Personal Growth: Fostering emotional resilience and self-confidence in our students.
Community Building: Strengthening the bond between school and families to support our students' journey.
Ways You Can Support at Home
Encourage Perseverance: Remind your child that it's okay to struggle and that persistence leads to success.
Promote a Growth Mindset: Praise effort, not just achievement. Celebrate small victories.
Stay Involved: Attend school events, stay in touch with teachers, and be an active part of our school community.

Morning Drop Off Procedures
Morning Drop-Off Procedures
- Your child will have to open and close their own door. We suggest they sit on the right side of the car during drop-off and pick-up.
- If your child would like you to walk him or her to the door, you must park on the hill in the back or across the street in the front. If you do walk your children across, it is necessary that you use the crosswalk so that the car line can flow correctly.
- Please keep the left lanes open during drop-off and dismissal. This lane must remain open for emergencies and so our faculty and staff will be able to park.
- This week, in the back, you will notice orange cones ( the concrete bumper blocks) where students are safe to exit their car. Please do not wait until the awning to let your child out. In the front, students may begin exiting the vehicle once your vehicle is parallel with the sidewalk. ALL STUDENTS MUST EXIT THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE VEHICLE.
- If you are parking for morning drop off in the back parking lot, YOU MUST PARK IN THE GRAVEL PARKING LOT. YOU MAY NOT PARK ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND LET YOUR CHILD OUT.
- Lastly, we promise we do not mean to be dismissive or short, but we are simply not able to have conversations during drop off and dismissal. We are short handed and must keep our eyes on the doors and crosswalks for the safety of our students. Please send notes through students or call the office for information that needs to be relayed to the teacher.
REMINDER: From 7:15-7:30 the only drop off spot is the cafeteria doors. The doors in the front will open at 7:30. Kindergarten should be dropped off in the back at all times. PreK drops off at their classroom exterior doors beginning at 7:30.
