Word Wall Words
Please continue to work on the recognition of our words. A special thanks to Matthew for writing some review words.
Literacy Workstations
Aria had to unscramble the letters to create a word that matched the pictures. She did a great job!
Word Work
Practice makes perfect! We continue to work on hearing individual sounds in words. Have your child “tap” out the sounds and then write what they hear.
Writers Workshop
In Writing, we are finishing up our “How to” unit. We hope you enjoyed your student’s previous writings that we sent home this week!
Reading Workshop
As readers, we enjoy sharing a story with a classmate.
Shared Reading
In Shared Reading, we reread our Morning Message and talked about the capitalization and punctuation that was used.
Math
In math, we are learning the names of a variety of 3D shapes and how they differ from 2D shapes.
Math Workstations
Nasir and Matteo matched numerals with their corresponding puzzle piece. Then they put the puzzle sets in order.
Science
In science, we are exploring magnets and learning how they work.
Shoe Tying Pros
These three girls all know how to tie their shoes!!! They are super helpers with their classmates!
April Challenge
Please work on the Word Wall Words. It would be wonderful if your child could read ALL of the words!
Field Day
We were outside, first thing in the morning. We had such a great time!!!
