RMS Clubs
Builders Club
Builders Club students took time out of their afternoon on Thursday, January 12, to spend time at Wellbridge Nursing Home. They had a wonderful time, making a craft with several of the residents there. Thank you to Isabel Wineski, Fernanda Valencia, Jack Dean, Kolby Rushton, Dimitri Cutajar, Aidan Phillips, Eva Espinoza, Reese Warzin, Ethan Wenrick, and Colton Czerw for making the day extra special for these older adults.
Drama Club
The preparations for the RMS Spring Musical, Annie JR., have begun. Auditions took place January 4th through the 6th. A great group of talented students attended, which made the process of selecting who would fill each of the roles even more difficult. We greatly appreciate and applaud all who took the time to share their talents at the auditions. With that said, the cast and crew were finalized and rehearsals have started. Among the ensemble, Hudson Rice will be portraying Annie, Evelyn Bradmon is Grace Farrel, while Kolby Rushton will be Oliver Warbucks, and the character of Miss Hannigan will be brought to life by Rylee Cook. They will be joined by 33 others on stage and 28 students working behind the scenes to bring the loveable, heartwarming story of Annie to our community.

Greetings from the RMS Counseling office!
Social media can be an amazing resource for communicating and sharing ideas. We can connect with family and friends from all over the world and can be inspired by others. Unfortunately, many of our middle school students have access to so much out in the world and their brains are not ready to process it all. It can often be easier to say things behind a phone than it can be in person. Many of the conversations that take place in the counseling office stem from social media posts and students not taking the time to think before they post. We will be reviewing with our students the following acronym THINK - Is it true? Is it helpful? Is it inspiring? Is it necessary? Is it Kind? With your help reinforcing this message and talking to your child about the importance of responsible social media use, we are hoping to build a community of positive messages and kind words.

Noses Off
Press Release
Romeo Theatre Company is excited to bring the zany murder-mystery comedy Noses Off by Don Zolidis to our stage. The production will run January 27th - 29th at Romeo High School located at 62300 Jewell Rd. Washington, Michigan 48094.
An amateur theatre company's whodunit hurtles towards opening night -- but the real mystery is whether the cast and crew can get this disaster to curtain call. It won't be easy when the costume designer's bent on revenge, the actors are wrapped up in a revolving door of showmances, one suitcase plays the role of nine, and the playwright won't admit that Nine Little Indians might owe a little something to Agatha Christie.
If you liked Michael Frayn's classic comedy, Noises Off you will love Noses Off! It's always fun to watch actors' antics on stage, but what truly happens backstage? Family friendly… humor is designed for ages 12-112 years old.
Performances are Friday January 27th at 7 pm, Saturday January 28th at 7 pm, Sunday January 29th at 2 pm. All seating is general admission with doors opening ½ hr prior, tickets are $10. Tickets may be purchased online or at the door on the performance dates. Tickets will be available to the public on January 13th online through our ticketing website: romeotheatrecompany.ludus.com.
