Happy Monday!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are enjoying the Spring weather.

This Friday is Green and Gold Day. Thank you to Mrs. Foster, Kim Rodrigues and the class parents for planning a fun day for our children! Here are some important reminders:

• Please make sure your child is on time to school as we are leaving promptly at 8:30.
• Please have your children leave their backpacks at home as they will not be any classes.
• Pizza will be provided. If your child does not eat pizza, you must provide a sack lunch that can be disposed of at the park.

Congratulations to Bright Nnadi for being named the Outstanding Catholic Graduate for SMS. He will be recognized this Saturday at a Mass and celebration.

This past Saturday we had our Annual Sports Award Banquet. At the banquet, 4 special awards were given out. Congratulations to the following students:

• The Kevin Appuzzo Award for Service - Fisayo Opeyemi-Ajayi
• The Eze Emeama Leadership Award- Daniel Brown
• The Dennis Farrell Award- Bright Nnadi
• The Walter "Wally" Award- Tolu Ogunnaike

Congratulations to all our athletes!

Please make sure that you complete your service hours for the 2023-2024 school year.

• They must be completed by May 15th, 2024.
• If you do not complete the hours, you must submit a $500 activity fee.
• If you only complete half of the hours, you must submit a $250 activity. fee.

A this point these projects are only done during school hours. Please contact Kim Rodrigues at krodrigues0614@outlook.com This is a great way to get some hours before the end of the year!

• Transporting old smartboards to recycling center
• Cleaning Orange Ave stairwell
• Paint classroom hallways (white section only)
• Painting moldings on classroom doorways
• Paint the office bathroom
• Plaster repair in classroom
• Paint Principal's Office
• Paint Copy room
