Current Gahanna 7th graders are invited to attend Western Field Studies annual field trip to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. The trip will depart on June 4, 2025 and return on June 11, 2025. The link below has information about the trip and the evening parent meetings you can attend to get more specific information. This is not a school sponsored trip, however it is chaperoned by current and retired Gahanna teachers.

Western Adventure Information

The Columbus Urban League’s Young Engineers Society (YES!) Afterschool and Summer Learning program is an Outside-of-School-Time (OST) initiative for middle school aged youth. The program exposes participants to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) and career readiness related concepts through engineering while providing an academic support, social-emotional strength-based curriculum, digital literacy, and early career exploration. Students 14yrs of age have the opportunity to Learn and Earn $15.00 an hour.

We are partnering with The Ohio State University Engineering Department, Columbus State Community College, the Franklin County Commissioners and organization to offer amazing STEAM experience learning opportunities.

YES! operates September to May, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

The GMSW PTO needs your help with our two parent teacher conference dinners on October 1st and 3rd. We will be providing the main part of the meal but we will need help with some sides and drinks! All donated food items need to be purchased from a bussiess or store. No homemade food please. Review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up.
