Thank you, Austin, for reminding us to show love! Our Magness Creek students have been working on empathy all month. We are going to recognize some students and staff members this week that truly epitomize empathy here at the Creek. Fall Picture Day is this Thursday. All students will take a picture regardless of ordering, as these pictures will be used in this year's yearbook. Say cheese!

We had a fire drill this morning, and we will have a security drill on Friday of this week as well. Our school is dedicated to making sure our staff and students are prepared to be safe in various emergency situations.

In order to volunteer at Magness Creek, you will need to complete a background check every year and have Hallway Hero training once in your lifetime. Please call the office at (501)743-3565 or email your Hallway Hero interest to amy.morrow@cps.k12.ar.us or michelle.atherton@cps.k12.ar.us. We want the Hallway Hero piece to be easy and convenient for our families.
