Office Message
Student Absence
Cher Parents,
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to assure you that your child's safety remains our utmost priority here at EPK. In our continuous effort to enhance safety measures within the school premises, we are implementing some changes to our attendance procedures.
Effective immediately, we are introducing an additional step to our attendance protocol. After our initial roll call notification is sent out, we will now follow up with a secondary step of calling parents to confirm the whereabouts of any student for whom we have not received confirmation of attendance.
This extra measure ensures that we have a thorough understanding of each child's location during school hours, providing an added layer of security and peace of mind for both you and us.
To facilitate this process smoothly, we kindly request your cooperation in promptly reporting your child's attendance via Powerschool. Your timely responses greatly assist us in ensuring the safety and well-being of all our students.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we implement these enhancements to our procedures. If you require assistance reporting an absence in PowerSchool, please review our EICS Parent Technology Handbook for step-by-step instructions.
Warm regards,
M Morin
Principal
