Happy Mother's Day Gator Family!
We have a busy week ahead with an Orchestra Concert, Soccer Championships, Gatorworld, Band Concert, Choir Concert and 8th Grade Dance. Our Gators are looking forward to your support, so please be sure to come out and see them.
Students are preparing for finals. It is important that the students work hard for the next few weeks to finish out the year with success. Students will not be permitted to take finals early for any reason. It is important for students be present every day until the end of the year.
Parents we need your support with ensuring students are in dress code with their assigned ID/Lanyard everyday. I understand that we are nearing the end of the year. However, we will still be strictly enforcing all campus expectations until the last day. Student success and safety is our top priority, so we will be holding them accountable for their actions.
We have Gatorworld and the 8th Grade Dance coming up this week and we would love to have all students be able to participate. There are specific guidelines that students must meet to be permitted to attend their events. Please encourage them to make the right choices through the end of the year.

Student IDs & Tardies
Student IDs & Tardy Policies are Being Enforced
The students are aware of all routines/procedures. It is important they have their ID & Assigned grade level lanyard. Students may ONLY have the MCJH Colored lanyard for their ID. If students forget their ID, they will be required to pay $1 for a temporary ID for that day only. This should be a rare occurrence and not a regular practice. Purchasing a new ID will cost $5. Transportation is enforcing that students wear their ID to ride their assigned bus.
Students will be "dress coded" if they do not have an ID after 1st Pd and will receive a 2 hour After School Detention. Students who do not have their assigned ID/lanyard will be assigned a 4 hour Saturday School Detention. The expectations will be enforced daily/weekly.
Students know their schedules and can find their way to class. Students tardies are being tracked by teachers every class period. Tardy Sweeps will randomly occur on a regular basis. If students are caught in a Tardy Sweep or are running to get to class to avoid the Tardy Sweep, they will receive a 4 hour Saturday School Detention.
