Young 5/Kindergarten Registration

The Freeland Learning Center staff would like to invite parents of children who will be age 5 by

December 1, 2025 to attend our Young 5/Kindergarten Registration Night. This event is intended for parents only, so your child does not need to attend.

The registration process can be expedited by pre-completing the registration forms found on the Freeland Community School District website. These forms can also be picked up from the Freeland Learning Center Office, or can be mailed to you, through a request emailed to our office professional, Regina Rapin, at Rapinr@freelandschools.net. We will also have registration packets available that evening, but we encourage parents/guardians to complete the paperwork prior to coming to registration night.

• We will copy your child's original birth certificate
• We will collect your filled out forms
• We will sign your child up for a May/June screener assessment with one of our teachers
• We will answer any questions you might have
• We will share additional information about Y5/Kindergarten with you

1. Completed forms, or you will need to fill them out when you get here
2. Proof of residency, such as utility bill, tax bill or rental agreement
3. Original certified birth certificate
4. Immunization records
5. Kindergarten Oral Health Assessment

We hope to see you, Thursday, February 27th from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the Freeland Learning Center!
