This is the week! We are so excited about our community event, Howl at the Moon this Friday, Nov. 1st from 5:00-8:00pm! If you haven't purchased any tickets or signed the waiver, PTA members will be at the flagpole in the morning from 7:00-8:00am Monday through Thursday. Our online auction goes live TONIGHT beginning at 10:00pm. See the QR code on the flyer below.
Around the Campus!
To continue the talk about our campus focus for the year, I am excited to share that our teachers are diligently working during extended planning sessions to review student data. This process helps them identify which students may need additional intervention or enrichment. Our campus goal is to ensure that all students achieve growth in their Spring MAP scores in both reading and math, aiming for a target of 61%, which falls within the green area.
These collaborative discussions are vital in supporting our goals for the year and ensuring that every student can thrive.
Join us for the Career and Engaged Learning EXPO which will take place at O'Connor HS in the Ag Multipurpose Building (AMP) on Wednesday, October 30th from 5:30-7:00 pm. Students from several Northside schools in our area who feed into O'Connor High School will be there to showcase their learning. Come out to see the exciting things going on in our part of Northside, and be sure to look for our school’s display. We hope to see you there!
Welcome: Nurse Blaine Campbell
Hello Kuentz Families,
My name is Blaine Campbell, and I am beyond excited to officially be a Kuentz Coyote and your new school nurse! I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin (Hook ‘em!) and then moved to San Antonio to obtain my BSN at UT Health Science Center. I fell in love with the San Antonio area, and it has been my home ever since. I am married to my husband, Joshua, and we have a four-year-old daughter and a three-year-old son.
I am looking forward to getting to know the students, staff, and community.
Go Coyotes!
