MANAAKITANGA AWARD RECIPIENTS: WEEK 10
Priyesh never makes a fuss about the things he does and quietly goes above and beyond showing the 3R’s inside and outside the classroom. Priyesh listens to his peers and teachers at all times. He shows respect to everyone he meets and consistently follows instructions.
Wenarata Kameta-Noanoa (Tunohopu Whanau)
Taking on new challenges, being courageous and stepping out of her comfort zone e.g. Kahui Rangatahi, showing care and respect towards all.
Dani-Lee McGeorge (Te Rangiiwaho Whanau)
Consistently volunteering to assist anyone with anything.
Atutahi Jennings (Hurungaterangi Whanau)
Atutahi has been recognised by his peers across our whanau as being a supportive role model for everyone. Atutahi builds others confidence by supporting from the rear.and making sure his peers are pushed into challenging themselves.
Caira-Jem Smalley-Huch (Te Roro o Te Rangi Whanau)
Koia kei a ia te Manaaki i tetahi atu! She has been amazing this term. Always helpful towards others and the kaiako, always going above and beyond for any kaupapa and offering to help with others in the whare or other whanau in our kura withHaka and Waiata.
Holly Anderson (Taeotu - Pathways)
Holly has been an amazing tech assistant for the Music Performance room so far in 2022. Not only did she excel in the Music Performance Pathways, she is an active member of both Choir and Ukulele club, running the tech duties for both groups. A totally reliable student!
MANAAKITANGA AWARD RECIPIENTS: WEEK 11
Eva consistently follows the school's 3R values and models them for other students. She stepped into a leadership role when working on the whanau board to guide her class's contribution. Eva is willing to support her class members in their work and shows kindness to all.
Te Ikiwa Niupalau (Tunohopu Whanau)
For showing leadership in sport and class learning. Te Ikiwa always self-manages and sets an example for others in our class.
Addison MacDougall (Te Rangiiwaho Whanau)
Addison is an emerging leader in our classroom who is always supportive of her peers and willing to help others. She takes pride in her appearance, the way she presents herself to the world and is a responsible and reliable member of Te Rangiiwaho 5.
Declan Jull (Hurungaterangi Whanau)
Declan is always displaying respect towards others within our whanau. He is more than willing to awhi other students within, not only his class, but across our whole whanau. He shares his ideas confidently and is regularly offering to help our kaiako with all sorts of little jobs.
Storm Bell (Te Roro o Te Rangi)
Storm is an outstanding student. Consistently showing leadership and demonstrating our school values everyday.
Tayla Wihapi (Taeotu - Pathways)
Tayla is an amazing young lady who consistently shows respect for others. Tayla is always happy to support her peers whether it is in the kitchen or helping them with their reporting document. Tayla demonstrates personal initiative by undertaking extra jobs in the classroom such as doing the laundry every week which was greatly appreciated (Hurungaterangi 1).
