FULLER FAMILY NEWS
From the Principal's Desk
Fuller Families,
We had a great week at Fuller Elementary, and we’re thrilled to share that we’ve met our goal of 97% average attendance this week! This is such a fantastic achievement, and we couldn’t have done it without your help. Remember, regular attendance is so important for your child’s success in school—it helps them build strong learning habits, stay on track academically, and feel connected with their peers. Let’s keep this momentum going!
It’s Homecoming Week, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you! Check out the fun dress-up days below to help your child join in. Just a reminder: mums and garters are reserved for the homecoming football game on Friday night.
This Thursday, we’ll be kicking off our PTO Boosterthon Fun Run! Make sure to sign your child up—our goal is to raise $12,000, and we know we can do it with your support! Information on how to register your child is included below.

Attendance
Good attendance is important for many reasons. Your child receives the maximum benefit of education by being in school every day, and numerous studies show a strong link between academic performance and consistent attendance.
A compulsory attendance notification will be sent to the parent if a student has unexcused absences on 10 or more days or parts of days within a six-month period or three days or parts of days during a four-week period. Notice it says “parts of days.” This means that leaving school early, or arriving excessively late in the day, even if the child attended for some of the day, may count as an absence.
In the state of Texas, Pre-K is not required, however, once you enroll your student in school, all attendance laws apply.
