Mr. Jansen Makes an Impact!
When Mr. Jansen came over to say hi, Katie shared Jackson's excitement with Mr. Jansen, who offered to let Jackson experience being an Athletic Director. Katie shared, "This is exactly what it means to be OneTroy and World Class for All. Mr. Jansen is a shining example of a leader and someone kids can look up to. He took time out of his busy evening to show my son extra attention. Jackson couldn't stop talking about it all night."
Thank you, Mr. Jansen, for going above and beyond for Troy students!
If you have a story you'd like to see in the TSD Newsletter, please share it! You can email your story to ahendry@troy.k12.mi.us.

October is Bilingual Child Month
Bilingual Child Month offers a chance to celebrate the linguistic talents of OneTroy students and the invaluable contributions of our dedicated educators.
Bilingualism goes beyond mastering two languages; it opens doors to understanding different cultures, fostering empathy, and preparing students for a globalized world. Bilingual children often demonstrate stronger problem-solving skills, enhanced cognitive abilities, and greater career opportunities.
As a district, we are committed to supporting bilingualism through programs that build a strong foundation in English and other languages, empowering students to communicate in an interconnected world. We are grateful to our dedicated ELD and World Language educators for making this possible.
Let's celebrate the diverse linguistic talents of our students and the benefits of bilingualism! Together, we nurture global citizens who connect cultures and languages. Thank you, parents and educators, for your support!
