Heart Health Month
Some ways I like to keep my heart healthy is through movement. Enjoy and dance along to these moose-ical moose videos. Who doesn't love a dancing moose?!
February 7th to the 14th is Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Week so please join us on February 14th and wear red in support of Congenital Heart Defect awareness.
To end our Heart Health Month, we will celebrate our healthy hearts together as a school at our annual Cub Cafe. Our students will eat heart healthy food together for breakfast. Hudson Valley Fresh will be bringing their calf again and the Cornell Cooperative will talk to us about the importance of agriculture. Larry Anthony, our Food Service Director, will be doing a food demo for our students, and our own FFA students from Stissing Mountain will be here to help serve breakfast. Nicole from the Rural Center Refillery in Pine Plains will also join us to lead an earth friendly activity to help support our healthy hearts. We look forward to this joyful event to end our month celebrating hearts!
