As the first semester comes to a close, we want to express our sincere gratitude for the opportunity to serve your family this fall. Watching your children grow academically over the past few months has been truly rewarding. The sky is the limit for the spring semester!
Please note the following important dates:
- Early Release: Friday, December 20th, at 12:30 PM
- Holiday Break: December 23rd to January 10th
- Staff Return: January 13th for Professional Development
- Students Return: Tuesday, January 14th
We hope your winter break is filled with hope, joy, peace, and love. We are beyond excited to see all that the spring semester will bring.

Area Two Leadership Development Events Contest Results
Glasscock County FFA Members were up early as they competed at the Area 2 LDE Contest! We had 33 students compete in 11 different events. Members showed out as we were top 5 in six of these events! In addition, 3 teams were Area Runners up and qualified for the State Contest! Academic Update
Under the incredible leadership of Mrs. Marshall, we’ve concluded our very first Adult ESL class for the semester at GCISD. This group of ladies attended classes weekly to increase their language acquisition skills. This is what it means to be a Bearkat—Achieving Excellence Together!
