Report Cards
Students should have brought their report card home on Friday, October 25th. We asked parents/guardians to sign the report card envelope and return it to school. We will send all report cards home in these envelopes.

Free Tutoring Opportunity
This tutoring opportunity is available to all eligible students, not just members of the Boys and Girls Club!
SWC Competitive Wrestling Team
The competitive program will practice on Mondays and Thursdays from 6:30-7:45pm in the SHS Wrestling Room. This session will last from November 4th to December 19th for grades 1 through 5. There will be a second session from January to March. This program offers more practice time and opportunities to compete against wrestlers from different schools/clubs. Our wrestlers usually get to wrestle 15-30 matches. There will also be a SIWL league championship duals and individual tournament included in the registration fee. This league and program is designed for those looking for more competitive wrestling.

Dual meets and tournament
Team Singlet
Students will need:
Athletic practice wear
Wrestling Shoes (Amazon or Dunham's)
Headgear
Mouth Guard
Must have USA Wrestling Card. Available for purchase at www.usawmembership.com (select Seymour
Wrestling Club as affiliated club) $45 to USAWrestling. If interested contact Coach Rasey at raseyd@scsc.k12.in.us. COST $60 to Seymour Wrestling Club to cover singlet and SIWL fee. Total Cost: $105($45 to USAWrestling/$60 to Seymour Wrestling Club
Seymour Intermediate Fall Fundraiser
Thank you to those who participated in the PTO Walktober Fundraiser Event. These funds went to the PTO to get the organization up and running and to fund teacher appreciation activities, student reward systems, and PTO events.
The Fall Fundraiser of "Cookie Dough and More" will kick-off on November 6th. Students will bring home product magazines and information on how to use the online sale portal. Order forms are due to the school by 11/19/24. The money raised through this fundraiser goes to the Seymour Intermediate Student Activities Fund. This fund purchases anything student-related such as: recess equipment, student prizes, field trip entry fees, etc.!

Our overall student attendance rate for October was 95.2%. This means that on average, 95.2% of our students were at school every day in October. We understand that illnesses happen or students have standing appointments, please make sure to call our office at 812-523-4637 to report an absence.
