π October 2024 Edition π
A Word from Cathy
Happy Fall,
Being a Head Start teacher or teaching assistant is a hard job, but the reward of knowing you have touched the lives of children and families in a positive way is the best. Creating an inspiring classroom environment and supporting childrenβs learning is part of being a Head Start teacher. Head Start also has additional expectations for keeping children safe. We have provided you with tools that assist and remind you to do so. In the newsletter you will find Head Start Safety Reminders. I challenge you to find the information in our Head Start/EHS Teacher Manual located on our webpage. It is all of our jobs to take responsibility to educate, support, and keep the children entrusted to our care safe. With your help and support we can make our program the best.
Wishing you all a momentous year!
