Learning About Maple Syrup
Second-graders use what they learn in science about plant adaptations to better understand the relationship between Maple trees, their environment, their production of food, and the animals that survive because of a tree during a visit to Ryerson Conservation Area in Riverwoods. Students drilled circular holes in a tree to test how maple syrup is grown and processed.

Change in Student Dismissal Plans
If your student's dismissal plans change during the day you are probably notifying the school through the Pikmykid App. At times, it may be necessary to sign out of the app and sign back in to see your student again. You should now be able to see your child in your account. If you are still having an issue, please contact your school office.
Pikmykid App Set Up
If you haven't set the app up on your mobile device, here are some simple instructions.
Download the app to register or access the online version.
*Register – How to Video.
*If you have already registered please log out of the app under your account and log back in. Schedules previously inputted in the app will still be there.*
IMPORTANT! EVERYONE has been defaulted to a bus rider status. If your student does not ride the bus you will have to make the change in PMK.
The choices are easy to follow. Only ONE default mode is allowed. The default has currently been set to the bus for all students.
Students who have Permanent Dismissal Notes on file/in the classroom must update this information in PMK.
