Governor Josh Stein Visits Yancey County
We are grateful for Governor Josh Stein's visit to Yancey County. He also visited Micaville Elementary and spoke with principal Melanie Bennett. He had many questions about missed instruction time and how the district is mitigating that loss. We thank Governor Stein for being willing to listen to our needs and advocating for Yancey County Schools in Raleigh and in Washington, D.C.
