Mrs. Alabduljalil's class celebrating Read Across America day.

Congratulations to these 5th graders for participating in the D11 Battle of the Books today. We got to take two teams this year. So proud of their effort. Can not wait to see them shine again at the Regional Battle on April 18.

King third, fourth, and fifth graders were fortunate enough to receive a private concert in Specials classes; presented by the Army’s Fourth Infantry Division Brass Quartet! Students, teachers and staff were awed at the amazing performance and students were able to ask the musicians questions after the performance. What an incredible experience! A big thank you to the Army’s Fourth Infantry Band and Ms. Liske for organizing this opportunity for our King students.

Thank you to Mrs. Cross for collecting and displaying all of our students amazing art and thank you to Mrs. Cross and our PTA for organizing another awesome event! We also thank all of our King families that supported our students by attending this event and celebrating the hard work your students put in during art class this year!

King Elementary is looking for a Crossing Guard for after school. If you are interested, please email Mrs. Krueger, tammy.krueger@d11.org

Students who get dirty/muddy or have an "accident" often borrow clean clothes from our health room. We are always in need of gently used boys pants (in various sizes - especially sizes for our kindergarten and first graders)
