"Miss Hunni" — for 44 incredible years, she has stood faithfully on the sidelines, cheering on our Purple Warriors with unwavering dedication. That’s over 440 games, countless Friday nights, and a lifetime of memories shared with our Bonham High School family. As one of the finest educators I've had the honor to work alongside, Miss Hunni embodies passion, loyalty, and love for her students and school. It’s a privilege to call her a colleague, but an even greater blessing to call her my friend. Thank you, Miss Hunni, for all you have given to our school and community. 💜

Our Veteran's Day Program was blessed to have many of our local Veteran's attend. The program featured many of our students and was highlighted by guest speaker Buddy Merrick's rousing speech and rendition of God Bless The USA!

Our parents do so much for our students, what an awesome opportunity to give back a little and provide mom with a haircut!!! Great job Makayla!

How long have you been a student at Bonham ISD?

I have been a student in Bonham ISD my whole life.

What are you future plans for College/Career

I will be attending Grayson County College to get my basics in preparation to begin my career and become an author.

What is your favorite thing about the High School campus?

It truly is that we are not just a campus filled with students and staff, we are a FAMILY! Everyone here knows your name and is always willing to provide support and a helping hand. It doesn't matter who you are, or what you are involved in, our family is always there for us!

What does it mean to you to be a Fighting Purple Warrior?

To me, being a Bonham Purple Warrior means that you are a part of a FAMILY! Everyone hear cares about you and supports you no matter whether we win or lose, no matter what your score is, and no matter what you are or are not involved in, everyone cares about you and is here to support you!

I will be attending Texas A&M in Commerce to major in Sports Management and become a teacher/coach

It would simply be the people. I have a group of teachers and friends that form a community, a family!
