Greetings, and we hope you had an amazing weekend!

We had a couple of big accomplishments at AgriSTEM last week. Congratulations to Mrs. Cassie Sanders for winning Lubbock ISD's Secondary Teacher of the Year! We get a firsthand view of her talents and dedication to students. Also, join us in congratulating Talkington FFA member Caroline McAfee on qualifying for state as she secured the title of Area Champion Runner-up in the Soil Conservation Stewardship Public Speaking Event. This morning, we wish Amarachi Uche-Eboh luck as she interviews for an opportunity to serve as a Texas FFA Ford Scholar. On Thursday, we get to recognize our CDE and SDE state qualifiers at the Lubbock ISD School Board meeting.

It's surreal that we have reached the final week of the school year. We thank our exceptional students and dedicated agricultural science teachers for their remarkable growth and achievements during the 2023-2024 academic year. We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our parents, administrative support teams, and the community. Your unwavering support and belief in our mission have been the cornerstone of our success this year, and we are truly thankful for your continued partnership.

While the instructional year ends on Friday, our FFA members and agricultural science teachers will remain busy with upcoming events, such as the Texas FFA Degree Check, Area 1 FFA Leadership Conference, officer retreats, the Texas FFA Convention, and professional development opportunities. Thank you for your unwavering belief in our students and for helping turn their dreams into reality.
