Carnival Information

• Each family is responsible for signing up for a work shift.

• Click HERE to sign up!

• Shifts are categorized by time and grade level.

• If the shifts for your child’s grade are full, you can sign up under another grade level.

• The goal is just for ALL shifts to be filled!

• If you are the 1:30 - 2:30 shift - you are responsible for packing up that booth. Your shift is over when the booth is packed up and area cleaned.

• Set Up and Clean Up

• We will need lots of hands to help with set-up (Friday and Saturday) and clean up (Sunday)! Please remember to sign up for those areas as well!

• High School students may also work shifts. SLCHS sports teams, cheer and sweethearts will be sent a specific link to sign up for their booths. All other students may use the general sign up link listed above.

• All games and some food items will require Carnival Ticket Bracelets.

• Ticket Bracelet pre-orders were due October 11th. These charges are now posted to your FACTS account and bracelets will be sent home with students the week of Carnival.

• Ticket Bracelets will also be sold the day of the event at the Ticket Booth on the recess field. Cash and Check only.

• Bracelets are $20 each and are worth 20 tickets. They have squares on them that will be marked as students play games, etc. Each square represents a ticket.

• We have adjusted the bracelet price to help your bracelets go farther. Why?? Because you would have to use almost an entire bracelet for the horse rides, etc. This way, the bracelet will last longer.

• Ex. in past years the bracelets were $5 each but each square or “ticket” had a lesser value. Pony Rides: were 12 tickets, now will be only 4 tickets / Ticket Tornado: was 8 tickets, now 4 ticket / Hamburgers: were 12 tickets, now 5 tickets. Just to give you an idea!

All grades, parents, and families are invited to bring baked goodies to the Sweet Shop!

Some examples of items are:

• Cakes

• Brownies or Cookies (must be individually wrapped)

• Any other sweet treat like jams, jellies, etc. are welcome too!

• Store bought items are ok, but we encourage it to be homemade!

Prizes

• Raffle: For each item brought in, the student will get their name placed in a raffle drawing. The winner will receive a $25 gift card.

• Class Participation: the class with the most items brought in will receive a pizza party!

Item Drop Off:

• Saturday, October 26th between 9am-11am

• Sunday, October 27th 8 am-9 am

• Please deliver to Mrs. Eisner’s classroom – Room 14—located in the same hall as the library

• Please make sure you note if the dessert contains any nuts or nut products
