Enjoy Your Summer, Adams Families!
See you in the fall!
What's Happening This Week:
As the school year comes to a close, we want to express how much it has been a pleasure to serve as your child's interim principal and assistant principal and to work with each of you. Your children have brought immense joy to our school community; we cherish every moment spent with them. We will miss them dearly over the summer.
Summer Activities for Students:
- Reading: Encourage your children to read regularly.
- Math Practice: A little bit of math each day can go a long way.
- Virtual Exploration: Take advantage of virtual museum tours and online learning opportunities.
We are eagerly looking forward to welcoming everyone back in the fall. Please watch for communication from us in late August with important back-to-school information.
Important Dates for Next Week:
- Thursday & Friday: Half days with dismissal at 11:00 am.
- No Backpacks: Students are not allowed to bring backpacks to school throughout the week.

GEM AWARDS
Our staff shines with their unwavering dedication and hard work for our students. We are always excited to present our prestigious awards to recognize their exceptional efforts and commitment.
Recognizing Our Wonderful Parents!
Recognizing and rewarding our parents for their efforts is always a pleasure. On Tuesday afternoon, during pick-up time, some of our teachers and students handed out goodie bags to parents. These bags included snacks, a stress ball, and information about our PBIS program at Adams. Our parents are always appreciative of the support and information they receive from our dedicated Adams staff.
💻 Chromebook Collection 💻
Adams is conducting a mass collection of ALL Chromebooks this year from 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students. This is the first time we are doing a mass collection, and it is essential for us to assess our inventory and prepare for summer maintenance.
Please note the collection dates for each grade:
- 7th Grade: June 4, 2024
Make sure to bring your Chromebooks on the designated date for your grade. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us ensure all devices are accounted for and ready for repairs over the summer.
Thank you for your attention and cooperation!

💻 Internet 💻
Take Charge of Your Internet: To ensure all students have the access they need, the State of Michigan is conducting a Broadband Mapping Challenge, which can help secure federal funds to expand quality broadband to homes in our district. Michigan residents can visit the website to check the map for their home address and submit necessary corrections to the state internet map.
