Congratulations to our incredible soloists and ensembles who participated in last Saturday’s Solo & Ensemble contest! The day was filled with high spirits, well-prepared students, and beautiful singing. A total of 61 events earned an excellent rating, while 11 soloists and 4 ensembles received the prestigious Outstanding Musician Award—which I believe sets a new Klein High Choir record!

These results are truly awe-inspiring in a district as competitive as Klein ISD. Students, your independence and hard work throughout Solo & Ensemble season have truly paid off. If you have a voice teacher, be sure to thank them for their dedication as well.

Thanks to those who attended our Winter Social at the Kickerillo Preserve this week. The weather didn't feel like winter! It was a great afternoon of games and snacks. We can't wait to host our next social later this semester!

It's that time of year! We hope our current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are looking forward to another great year of choir as they are finishing the course selection process. I would like to encourage all of our Klein High students to talk with any interested friends about joining choir next year. Regardless of experience or ability, we have a place for everyone! Additionally, if you know of any current eighth graders who you believe would be a great addition to our family, please reach out to them. Below is a link to our website FAQ page. We ask that you share this with any potential new members.

As of now, all students should have paid their final payment totaling in $425.00 for the spring trip. If you have not done so, or are unsure please email Mr. Stultz ASAP.

MANDATORY Zoom Meeting on Tuesday, March 4 6:00-6:30 PM

We will hold a meeting via Zoom for all students attending and their parents to go over final trip details and expectations of our trip. Stay tuned for a link as we get closer to March.

Join us for the KISD Mad Fest Preview Concert on Tuesday, February 25, at 7:00 PM in the KHS Auditorium. This special evening will showcase some of the finest vocal performances across Klein ISD. Chamber choirs from Klein High, Klein Oak, Klein Collins, and Klein Cain will each perform three pieces as they prepare to compete in the Texas Madrigal Festival Contests in San Antonio and Dallas later this month.
