What Do Our Teachers Have to Say?
Hello All!
This has been a busy few weeks! We finished up the Fun Run, and I can’t begin to tell you how proud I am of all the kids and our community. What an awesome fundraiser that is put on by some really awesome people within our district!
We also just finished up with conferences! I really enjoyed getting to visit with parents and see our middle school students sharing their successes through our student-led conferences. I know that it’s difficult to schedule time in our busy lives, but it is so awesome to get to work with parents and students to be partners in their education!
Next up we have our leaf raking service project. This is a great opportunity for our middle school students to provide a service to the community through the cleanup of leaves at local parks and yards. The students really enjoy doing this project, and we always have a great turn out of parent volunteers to help make the day successful!
Sincerely,
Mr. A
Fun Run a Smashing Success
This year for the Fun Run, we, as a school, raised over $78,000. That's really crazy! There were a lot of prizes, and we ran around the whole football field. We had a banana and some water. At the end almost everybody was super tired. There were a lot of games. Last, but not least, we all had fun! Thank you for helping our school.
