Muñoz Minutes 🕒
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Members of our School Communities,
As we enter June, we have just 14 school days remaining—three short weeks until the end of the academic year. May has flown by, with it, a series of memorable events celebrating our excellent senior class.
This Sunday, at 1:00 PM, we will gather at the high school for our graduation ceremony. This momentous occasion marks the culmination of years of hard work and dedication. We are incredibly proud of our graduates and look forward to celebrating their achievements together.
This past week has been filled with joy and nostalgia as we honored our seniors with several special events. Senior Walk Day was a heartwarming experience, with students returning to their elementary schools to visit former teachers and inspire the younger students. The halls were filled with smiles, hugs, and memories as seniors reminisced about their early years in our district.
Class Day was another highlight of the week. Our seniors received numerous awards and scholarships recognizing their academic, athletic, and artistic accomplishments. The event concluded with a fantastic video montage showcasing their journey through Norwood Public Schools, from their first days of kindergarten to their final days as high school seniors. The video was a beautiful tribute to their growth and achievements over the years.
As we move towards the end of the school year, I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all Norwood Seniors. Your hard work, perseverance, and spirit have brought you to this milestone. We are proud of each and every one of you and are excited to see what the future holds as you embark on the next chapter of your lives.
Thank you to the entire Norwood School District community for your continued support and dedication. Let's make these last few weeks of the school year memorable and positive for all our students.
Go Mustangs!
Sincerely,
Dr. J.J. Muñoz

Updated COVID-19 Guidelines
Norwood Public Schools Adopts the New CDC & MA Department of Public Health Guidelines for Respiratory Illnesses
1. When you have ANY respiratory virus (Flu, COVID, RSV) - stay home and away from others while you have respiratory
virus symptoms. These symptoms can include fever, chills, fatigue, cough, runny nose, and headache, among others.
2. Return to normal activities when, for at least 24 hours, BOTH are true:
Your symptoms are getting better overall, AND
You have not had a fever (and are not using fever-reducing medication)
3. When you go back to your normal activities, take added precautions over the next 5 days, such as taking
additional steps for cleaner air, hygiene, masks, physical distancing, and/or testing when you will be
around other people indoors.
If you have questions or need COVID home test kits please reach out to your school nurse. For additional information
