What is Field Day?
Field Day is a fun K-5th grade event that we try to have every school year. K-5th graders will cycle through 10 different fun stations every 10 mins. Some stations include: Noodle tag, a variety of Relay Races, GaGa Pit, KerPlunk, Skii Ball, Parachute & More!
Here is this year's schedule on Friday, May 24:
Grades 1, 4, 5 ~ 8:15am to 10:05am
Grades K, 2, 3 ~ 12:15pm to 1:55pm

A HUGE shoutout to all the volunteers who helped make the Spring Concerts run so smoothly, as well as for putting up 500+ pieces of artwork!
And let's not forget the awesome volunteers who helped at Walk/Bike to School Day! Below you will see a picture of a bunch of them that walked with the students on buses!
PTA Newsletter
We celebrated the staff last week for Teacher Appreciation week. Thankful for the families that helped make the meals and treats happen, along with Sir Benedicts Tavern on the Lake for the delicious sandwiches and soup.
So much gratitude for local businesses who donated gifts: Sally Cavallaro Designs, Lake Superior Brewing, Infinity Massage & Wellness, Vitta Pizza Central Entrance Duluth Minnesota, Full Circle Yoga Duluth, Duluth YMCA Great Lakes Aquarium, Blackwoods Bar and Grill and Tavern on the Hill. Make sure to support them. They're what helps make our community better.
Thank you to Maren and Callie for another successful Walk, Bike and Roll to school day. So many smiles, wheels and joy!
Last PTA mtg of the school year is Wednesday May 22nd at 6pm. Principal Cawcutt will be there and you should too. We will be reflecting on the year, review budget and vote on board members for the 2024-25 school year.

In order to support all of the kids interested in Lego Robotics, the Lester Park Foundation is seeking additional volunteer coaches for the Fall 2024 season (~Aug-Dec).
The national group "First Lego League" provides a detailed playbook, so technical expertise in robotics is not required! Our goal is for each team of 4-6 kids to have 2 volunteer coaches.
