Meadowlane Intermediate Happenings

We will provide a safe and engaging environment every day so that all students will acquire lifelong learning skills that will enable them to be productive and successful citizens today, tomorrow and always!

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Break with your family. We are all excited to welcome students back today! There are 4 full weeks until Winter Break, and these weeks will be very busy!

Our PTO will meet on Monday, 11/27 at 3pm in the Intermediate media center. You are invited to attend!

Interims will post on Wednesday, 11/29. Please be sure to review your child's interim and reach out to your child's teacher if you have any questions or concerns.

Morning Mile will be starting Monday, November 13th through February 29th. Each grade level will attend on separate days:

Sixth- Monday

Fifth- Tuesday

Fourth- Wednesday

Third- Thursday

We will run on the Central track from 7:20-7:40. . If your child is interested they should ask Mrs. Bobleter for a permission form. The first 25 students in each grade level to return a signed permission form will be accepted.

Time has finally arrived to begin science fair experiments.

If your child has completed the hypothesis and wrote an idea of what the outcome might be, they are ready.

A log check is due on December 1 to see that the daily log is updated.

The next check for data on the experiments is due on January 11th. We can't wait to see what your child discovers about science!

For safety reasons, please do not send your child to school with a hot beverage. As the weather cools off, we know many families like to stop for hot chocolate or coffee drinks in the morning. However, all hot beverages should be finished before arriving on campus.

On November 15 Ms. Ogborn accepted the Bright Ideas Classroom Grant funded by The Viera Company. We can't wait to see what she does with this in her classroom!
