RENEW

RENEW (Resilience, Empowerment, and Natural Supports for Education and Work) is a Tier 3 level intervention within a PBIS framework and an evidence-based practice. Developed in 1996, for students with serious emotional disorders, RENEW is a structured school-to-career transition planning and individualized wrap around process. RENEW focuses on developing a positive social student-driven process using person-centered planning.

Target Audience:

General education teachers, special education teachers, interventionists, coaches, transition coordinators, principals, special education liaisons, other administrators, school counselors, school psychologists, social workers

Act 48 Hours:

• Administrator Overview: 1 (one) Act 48 hours will be awarded after the training.
• Core Team Training 5.5 (five and a half) Act 48 hours will be awarded after the training.
• Facilitator Training: 14 (fourteen) Act 48 hours will be awarded after the training.

• Participants are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to attend all sessions in the series. Partial Act 48 offered.

Cost: There is no cost to attend this training series.

Registration Priority: Educators who work for LEAs in the AIU3 region will have priority registration.
