Titan Times: Week 40

Titan Families,

Thank you for a solid year of growth, connection, rebuilding and renewal. It has been an honor serving as your principal and being a part of the Titan Community. We have impeccable momentum and positivity launching us into the summer and new school year. Thank you a million times over for partnering with our educators, families, district leaders, and community businesses to make River Place Elementary shine in our #1LISD community!

Here are a few reminders:

• Updates on our campus are best reflected on our campus website and social media. Check there before you call our campus or email our office team.
• End of Year (EOY) Screener Data went home last week, and Please note that your Titan(s)'s report cards are in Home Access Centre. Please be sure to view/ print it BEFORE July. Outgoing 5th Grade Families, if you foresee needing a paper copy for sport/ activities for next year at the middle school, be sure to print it. After July, it could take up to 2 weeks to obtain a copy.

Last but not least, PLEASE soak in the glorious summer doing something that brings your family joy! Recharge and renew with each other either on a long get away or a short trip to a nearby park. I hope you take time to simply be a family and make memories.

• May 28 – May 31: Tuesday - Friday 7:30 AM- 3:30 PM (Regular Hours)
• June 3 – June 6: Monday – Thursday 7:30-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-4:30 p.m.
• June 7 – July 12 Closed to the Public
• July 15 – July 25: Monday – Thursday 7:30-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-4:30 p.m.

Dear Titan Community,

It is with a heavy and excited heart that I tell you that I will be moving on from RPE. Over the last 3 years, this school, your kiddos and your family have been my home and I am going to miss RPE so much. I want to send my sincerest thanks for loving me and for your kindness during my time here. I am forever grateful for the chance to have been able to interact with you and your children on such a regular basis and to support you in any way I could.

Luckily, I am not going far, so you may still see me around. I still have my 2 kids over at Four Points, and I will love getting to see and check in with our new Falcons there! The Titan community will always have a special place in my heart and though I am sad to leave, I am excited for my new journey at a medical office.

I love you all, and I pray for many blessings and a great school year in the fall!
